Sheet - Surprise calendar

Material

You need:

  • Glue
  • Black felt tip
  • Scissors
  • Piece of card
  • Modelling knife

Steps

  • Glue 24 toilet roll cores to a piece of Kraft paper end-on using liquid glue.
  • Leave to dry for 30 minutes then trim the surplus paper around each core with a modelling knife.
  • Décorer chaque rouleau avec un chiffre ou un nombre, jusqu’à 24 sur l’avant.
  • Cover each core with Kraft paper.
  • To build the house, glue 4 cores side-by-side horizontally, then repeat the operation three times. Don't forget to glue a floor between each storey.
  • Once this structure is complete, cut two strips of patterned paper and glue them to either side of the assembly to make the walls.
  • Cut a strip of card roughly 30cm wide and cover it with a sheet of the same paper. Bend it in the middle to form a roof.
  • Cut the end of the last toilet roll core on a slant and cover it with the same patterned paper. Glue it to the roof to make a chimney pot.
  • Glue the roof of the house onto the calendar assembly.
  • Add a finishing touch to your calendar with small adhesive stars.
