Aiming for a more structured and melodic instrumental practice : metallophones and xylophones. Both are designed with a sound box. They are differentiated by the materials the bars are made from and the "colour" of the sounds produced. The metallophone produces a crystal-like metallic sound while the xylophone's sound is rounded and mellow.
It comprises 12 plates from C to G as well as two F keys and a B-flat key.
