The product description mentioned that the bed was made of solid beech, but only the bed frame is solid; the mattress base is made of simple unfinished plywood. The incorrect description has since been corrected, and it is now specified that the mattress base is made of unfinished plywood. Customer service did not want to take back the product and has obviously corrected the erroneous description of their product since then. This kind of practice is frankly detestable, and I regret trusting this company.

The instruction manual is poorly photocopied. I couldn't figure out what the 4 washers were for (maybe to ensure stackability), so I didn't use them. IKEA's instructions are easier to implement.
