The colorful ambiance is relaxing because it is slow and adjustable in intensity. Similarly, the sound is adjustable in intensity. I also appreciate that it stops by itself after a while. However, the sound quality is quite mediocre, even though the choice of sounds (music or ocean sounds, or white noise) is interesting. It would have been nice to be able to use Bluetooth to play the sound through a quality speaker. I also regret that we cannot plug the whale into the mains or recharge it via USB. But overall, it's a good product at an affordable price, 'it's so beautiful' as Eva (two and a half years old) says.
