I thought it was sending more light to the ceiling

No on/off button

As indicated in the product sheet, this small sensory lamp turns on when moved and automatically turns off. This very simple use is particularly suitable for young children, whether they have specific needs or not, allowing them to use it independently. Adding an on/off button would introduce an additional action that could complicate its use by children. Have a nice day.
