The Nienhuis Montessori brand was founded in 1929 in the Netherlands by Albert Nienhuis, who collaborated with Maria Montessori to create products that reflect her vision of education. It is officially recognized by the Montessori International Association (AMI).

For 90 years, the materials have met the characteristics and requirements of the Montessori method. Each product is developed in partnership with education professionals and designed to achieve a specific learning objective. These materials also support children's need for autonomy, allowing them to explore and learn independently while easily checking their own errors.
