Steps

  • Knead a piece of modeling clay to give it an elongated shape, then take the child's footprint, emphasizing the toes. Remove the excess modeling clay and smooth the shape with a little water.
  • Before the shape is completely dry, push the branches into the top of the foot to form the animal's antlers (Tip: make pre-holes with a toothpick, this makes it easier to place the wood). Leave to dry overnight.
  • Paint the whole thing with acrylic paint.
  • Once the paint is dry, draw the eyes using gouache markers and glue on a button for the snout.
