The bars of all Wesco wooden cots have been oblong in shape since 2012. In other words they are flat with rounded edges. This design ensures that the cot bars are close together providing a much higher level of safety. Tests carried out on our wooden beds show that the base is 6 times stronger than the required standard.

For the bed itself, nothing to complain about. It is as expected. But the assembly is not up to par at all. The instructions are misleading, the explanations nonexistent, and the procedure impractical. The sliding panel is held in its track by pegs that must be placed in their groove before passing through the guides. But these pegs prevent the panels from being spread apart to place the panel in the guides. The instructions indicate not to tighten the panels before placing the sliding part. But in fact, they should hardly be screwed at all. So much so that the bottom part literally disassembles when assembling everything. If we leave the panels unscrewed, we unfortunately end up scratching the wood. This assembly method needs to be completely rethought. Since we do not screw the panels together to manage to pass the sliding part, it takes two people to assemble it. Otherwise, everything risks collapsing like a house of cards.
