You are probably here because we have asked you for additional rights to share your photo(s) on our different communication channels. These photos will be visible on the WESCO website (including the mobile version) either on the different Homes, the product sheets and a dedicated page. We like to share content from our community to allow other customers to get a glimpse of the real uses of the products we sell.
By replying to #YesWesco, you agree to the following Terms of Use:
1 - Criteria for the selection of photos
Only photos with an identification of the WESCO account, via the @, or the following hastags: #Wesco will be eligible for possible publication on our channels. Remember that your profile must be public for us to see your photo(s).
WESCO selects photos that highlight the brand's products and correspond to the brand's image and spirit.
The photos must show at least one WESCO product in an obvious way. The selection of photos will be based on the size, quality and aesthetics of the photo.
In addition, photos that may be selected must not :
- Infringe the image rights and/or copyright of a third party;
- Be of a violent, pornographic or offensive nature or more generally contrary to public order;
- Showing naked people;
- Constitute an act of counterfeiting or unfair competition.
Due to the large number of photos on social networks, we will not be able to select all of them to appear in our gallery. WESCO is not obligated to use any of the photos even if they comply with all the conditions of these Terms of Use. We will contact the profiles of the photos we select by message. If your photo is selected from a social network, you will receive a comment from the official WESCO page @Wescofamily (facebook) or @Wesco_family (instagram). Please respond with the hashtag "#yeswesco", to give your permission and agree to our Terms of Use.
2 - Transfer of photo rights - duration
Participants certify that they hold the copyright to the published photo as well as the authorisations relating to the image rights of the persons appearing in the photos. The publication of photos showing minors implies that you have previously obtained the agreement of their legal representatives.
By giving your consent, you agree to the display of your photo(s) on all of the following media: www.wesco-eshop.ie(and mobile application) and in all media dedicated to promoting the brand (marketing campaigns, catalogues, social networks and other customer communications).
We can exercise our rights under this licence anywhere in the world for a period of three (3) years from the date of publication.
3 - Request for deletion of a photo - Claim of the author or a third party
WESCO reserves the right, without notice and at its sole discretion, without any right to claim compensation from you, to remove the Photo Gallery, to remove your photos from the Photo Gallery (including if the product featured in your photo is no longer available for sale on the Site), to not publish your photos, even if you respond with a hashtag #yeswesco.
You can request the removal of a photo published in the galleries at any time:

- By sending a private message on the WESCO Facebook or Instagram account.
Similarly, at any time, the author of the photo or a third party, holder of the rights, may request a withdrawal in case of proven infringement:

- By sending a private message on the WESCO Facebook or Instagram account.
4 - Personal data
Your personal data collected when you upload a photo will be used by WESCO, the company responsible for processing your data, in order to integrate your photo(s) into all the media described above, to manage your participation in the various operations #, and to promote the WESCO image.
The photos and related personal data are kept for a period of three (3) years.
These data are intended for the departments in charge of marketing, web and IT.
You consent to the processing of your Personal Data by WESCO or a subcontractor.
In accordance with the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data, you have a right of access, rectification and opposition to the information concerning you which can be exercised:

4 - Contact Customer Service
Our Customer Service is available by email, phone, on Instagram and on Facebook from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
5 - Modification of the general conditions of use
We reserve the right to modify and amend these terms and conditions at any time.
A link will be sent to you to inform you of these changes and you will have to accept them. If you do not accept the changes within (15) days after the notification is sent, we will automatically delete the photos.
6 - Divisibility
In the event that any of the provisions of these general terms and conditions of use are declared null and void or deemed unwritten, all other provisions shall remain applicable.
7 - Applicable law
The contractual relations are governed by these general terms and conditions of use and French law. The language of this contract is French.
8 - Dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action is taken. If no agreement can be reached, the French courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
